This policy describes the technologies used on the Asociația „Investește pentru Viitorul Tău” Buzău website, their purpose and duration, and how you can express or change your choice.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website can save in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, technical identifiers and requests to external services. Some are strictly necessary for the operation or security of the requested service; the optional ones are used only after agreement.
2. Categories used
Strictly necessary
These technologies retain security, technical functionality and consent options. They cannot be disabled by banner as they are necessary to provide the requested choice and the operation of the site. You can delete them from your browser, but the banner may reappear or some authentication functions may be affected.
Statistics and campaigns — optional
The website uses statistics and campaign measurement tools only after activating the "Statistics and campaigns" category. WP Statistics performs local measurement: the IP address is not stored in the clear, the pseudonymized identifier uses a periodically changed salt, the approximate location is inferred locally, the full browser agent is not stored, the "Do Not Track" signal is respected, and detailed data is kept for a maximum of 180 days.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, measure website usage and the effectiveness of the free Google Ad Grants campaign. Google tag is not required before consent. After agreement, the path and title of the page, standard campaign parameters and click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid or wbraid, the parameterless referrer, browser/device information, and approximate location. The event course_start_click contains only the technical identifier of the course and the position of the button; generate_lead indicates only that the form was submitted successfully and does not contain name, email, subject or message. Arbitrary address parameters are removed before measurement. Analytical storage, storage necessary for advertising attribution and data necessary for measurement are permitted by agreement; ad personalization, Google Signals, remarketing and conversion audiences remain disabled. Google states that for traffic from the European Economic Area the IP address is used to derive the approximate location and is removed before recording.
External content — optional
YouTube and Google Maps are blocked by default. If you enable "External content", the browser can connect to Google/YouTube, which can receive the IP address, information about the device and the page visited and can use its own cookies or identifiers according to its policies. The choice does not activate the Association's own advertising and can be withdrawn at any time.
3. The technologies identified
The list reflects the configuration seen at the time of the last update. Not every name in a group is created on every visit: authentication cookies only appear for users who log in, GA4 and Google Ads cookies only after consent for "Statistics and campaigns", and external content service identifiers only if that service is activated and used. The list must be updated when services or configuration change.
4. How you express and change your choice
On your first visit you can:
- accept all optional categories;
- refuse all optional categories;
- open preferences and enable "Statistics and campaigns" and "External content" separately.
Opting out is just as accessible as opting in and doesn't block access to the underlying content. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the button "Administer Consent" from the footer of each page. Withdrawal has effects for the future. To remove already saved identifiers, you can also delete the site data in your browser settings.
5. Browser settings
Browsers allow you to view, block and delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may prevent you from saving your preferences or logging in. The footer option is the recommended method for controlling this site's categories, as it communicates the choice of all integrated modules.
6. External Services and Transfers
After activating the "Statistics and Campaigns" category, Google Ireland Limited processes GA4 data and Google Ads under the terms Google's data processing terms and of Google Ads data terms. After activating the "External content" category, Google/YouTube can also process data as an independent operator for its own services. Google describes the EU-US data protection framework for certified entities and the standard contractual clauses used where necessary in his transfer information; the concrete mechanism depends on the entity and service that processes the data. See also Google Privacy Policy. If you do not want statistical, campaign measurement or external content connections to Google, keep the corresponding categories disabled.

8. Updates
The policy is updated if technologies, purposes or legal requirements change. If the change affects the scope of the consent, the banner will request the choice again when necessary.
