Any taxpayer can now redirect 3.5% of the income tax, which he pays to the state, to a humanitarian association or any other NGO (according to art. 82, paragraph 6 of the Fiscal Code). In this way, you decide how a part of your tax will be spent.

HOW CAN 3.5% OF THE INCOME TAX BE REDIRECTED?

The redirection of3.5% of income taxowed to the state can be done very easily, by simply completing the application 230 (regarding the destination of the amount representing up to 3.5% of the annual income tax). Complete the first part of the document with your personal data and send the application to the local finance department.

If you earn income from other sources besides your salary, on declaration no. 200 regarding special incomes, which you submit anyway to the Financial Administrations, in point III, subsection 2, fill in as follows:

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

Step 1.Choose a field in which our humanitarian association is involved to which you want to redirect 3.5% of your tax.

– The redirection of 3.5% of your tax is an option and not an obligation.

- No state authority, no organization or your employer can compel you to do this.

Step 2. Download the form230(for individuals for salary income tax). On the form you can find our association data already filled in with the following information:

Step 3.Fill in your data on form 230 (point I). Don't worry if you don't know the amount corresponding to the redirection of 3.5% of the tax. It will be calculated by the fiscal authorities. You can leave the box blank. Also, if necessary, complete the Annex, then submit them together to ANAF, in person, by post or electronically. For more details, you can find the filling instructions in the form.

Step 4.Send by post or go in person with the completed form / statement to the financial administration you belong to.
